Black Rose Caravan is pleased to announce that Onça will be teaching 8 hours of workshops in Indianapolis in November. We will have a show on Saturday night featuring Onça and local dancers.

About Onça Director of Baraka Mundi Live Music & Dance Ensemble since 1999, Onça has long been known for her evocative stage presence. Baraka Mundi pioneered tribal bellydance in the Carolinas and was nominated for 'Best Kept Secret'. She was the first in the world to be Certified in General Skills by Carolena Nericcio, founder of American Tribal Bellydance. Her annual dance camp, TribOriginal, was nominated in 2008 as 'Best Event' in the national Golden Belly Awards. She is also an internationally published author and illustrator under her given name, Lauren O'Leary.

Four workshops will be offered:

• Essential Stagecraft for Performers
• Narrative Belly Dance
• Must-Have that Musicality!
• The Rose and the Thorn: Dancing with Fan

Workshop Pricing:
Cost is $40 per workshop if paid via cash, check or money order, or $41.50 if paying via Paypal. Or you can get a deal on all four workshops - $130 if paid via cash, check, money order, or $135.50 if paying via Paypal.

• Many restaurants are available within walking distance to the Wheeler Arts Center
• Maps of nearby restaurants will be provided at the workshop

1:30 pm-3:30 pm: Narrative Belly Dance

7:30-8 pm: Doors open for show

8 pm-??: Show - tickets are $5 at the door

Sunday, November 21st
