Onça Workshop - The Rose and the Thorn: Dancing with Fan


This one is a classic in Onça's teaching repertoire and evolves continually. Inspired in equal parts by Flamenco, the Fine Art of flirtation, and every performer's need for self-defense. Onça's Fan Fusion is long on musicality, emotive power, attitude and upper body strength. Savor the flavor of passion as we explore the potential of every dancer's indispensable tool; the Fan. Most fans will work: feather fans and fan veils will be discussed, but are not usable for the purposes of class. Onça's preferred fans will be for sale at the event, or bring your own.


Workshop cost is $40 per workshop if paid via cash, check, or money order or $41.50 if paid via Paypal.
